Pumpkin Carving

We tried some pumpkin carving tonight. Tyler was very excited about the whole thing until he realized that he was suppose to stick his hand inside the sticky gooey mess and pull stuff out. He opted to watch from that point on. He did think the light inside the pumpkin was pretty neat after Daddy had carved it.

Tyler tried out his new scarecrow costume (made by Gramma) tonight at a costume contest at Superstition Springs Mall. Although he didn't win, I thought he was the cutest one there!

Another successful Boyz Playdate! We had seven 2-3 year olds who all played very nicely together. What a great evening!!

Tyler's New Room!

We have finally finished Tyler's new room, thanks to a little help from Ga. We decided to leave his "baby" room the way it was for the new little brother and transform the guest room into Tyler's new "big boy" room. It is now complete with curtains, bed spreads and a cars wall hanging all made by Tyler's awesome Gramma! Thank you so much!!!!!

We went to the Cerreta Candy Factory for a tour this morning. We saw how the candy is made and had a few samples of yummy chocolate. We even got to make a chocolate pizza to take home! What better way to spend a Friday morning?

Race for the Cure

This past weekend Tyler and I participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Phoenix. This was Tyler's 3rd year of participating and Mommy's 7th. We had a good time and it was quite a workout.

Yard Work

A few weeks ago, Tyler's Ga (aka: Grandma) and RaRa (aka: Great-Grandma) came for a visit. We had a very busy weekend while they were here and some of the fun included a make over for the front and back yards. It turned into a whole family event and of course, Tyler was right there to help out.
