My New Friend

A few weeks ago, one of my good friends had her second child. We went by to see baby Connor and I took a few pictures. Here are baby Connor, about 3 weeks old and Sebastian, 6 months old. I hope they will become as good of friends as their older brothers, Tyler and Trey.

6 Months Old

Sebastian had his 6 month check up today. Here are his stats:

weight: 10 lbs, 2 oz (5% for corrected age)
height: 23 1/4 in. (25% for corrected age)
head: 15 1/4 in. (10% for corrected age)

He is doing very well and his pediatrician was pleased with his progress. Some other things he is doing now are: laughing, smiling, making gurgling noises and blowing raspberries. He is also reach for and holding toys, playing with his feet and rolling to his side. He has been showing all the signs of teething, some major chewing on his hands and drool going on, so that may not be too far away.

Charlotte's Web

Today was Tyler's first experience in a real movie theater. I took Tyler and Cousin Colton to see Charlotte's Web and we had a great time. The boys both seemed to enjoy the movie and Tyler made it all the way though until about 10 minutes before the end, when he asked if we could go home. This was the first movie in our Harkins summer movie passes. Next week were off to see Shrek the Third.

Found my piggie toes....

One of the goals for Sebastian is to reach for his toes. This position forces him to curve into a ball so he can roll. We have been working on this a lot and this morning he did it all by himself! He brought his toes up, grabbed ahold with his hands and then rolled on to his side. He is very close to rolling over all the way. I'm sure he will hate it when he finally does figure that out, since he hates tummy time so much.

Six month check up is Friday, so stats will be coming soon......
