Learning to Read!

We've been reading lots of book lately and Sebastian is always trying to grab the pages when I read, so I let him read his own book today. I think he did pretty well!

Too HOT to swim!

I put the baby down for a late nap today, so I thought it would be a good opportunity for Tyler and I to spend some quality time together. I asked him if he would like to go swimming while his brother is sleeping and his response was, "No Mommy, it's too hot to go swimming". My first reaction was What???, but I guess he's right, 115 is probably not the best time to be out in the sun. So, instead we decided to sit in the cool house under the fan and make lego cars. Still a fun afternoon with my little man.

This is a hand-me-down outfit from Tyler, but it's just waaaay too cute not to wear. Thanks again Auntie Heather and Auntie Rachel for the outfit, we are getting lots of use out of it.

Toy Story 3

Jef and I took Tyler to see Toy Story 3 on Friday. It was really cute and he enjoyed it. Now, if you know Tyler, you are aware of his obsession with trash trucks. When we got home from the movie, he spent the rest of the afternoon collecting trash because he was a trash man.
