The Christmas Story

Tyler's preschool put on a performance tonight of the Christmas Story. The play was put on by the 4 year old class and the kids did an excellent job with all of their parts. Tyler was one of the kings and had a small speaking part in the beginning to introduce the play.

Decorating the tree!

This was Sebastian's first year to help decorate the tree and he got the hang of it very quickly. You could definitely tell that our tree was decorated by little people.















































And here is the pro at decorating. He kept insisting that we didn't have enough ornaments on the tree. He was a very big helper in decorating the house for Christmas this year.

Sebastian turns 2!

Well, as much as we tried to prevent it, he has gone and done it. Yep, Sebastian turned 2 years old last week. It is hard to believe that he is no longer a "baby", even though he will always be our special little baby. He has grown and changed so much this past year in to a healthy, happy, very energetic little guy. He is always running, jumping, playing and now starting to talk up a storm. We celebrated his birthday with a few friends and of course some cake. Sebastian's favorite little buddy these days is a monkey, so we made a monkey cake to celebrate the big day. It was a very yummy cake!

Gramma and I worked hard on this cake and I think it came out pretty darn good. It tasted good too!!

Mother Nature's Farm

The other day we spent the morning at Mother Nature's Farm. The boys picked out some pumpkins to bring home. This is Sebastian sitting in the pumpkin patch.

Just for fun I found a picture of Tyler and I from the Komen walk in 2008. Tyler is about 10 months here.



















Here is Sebastian and I at the same walk in 2011. Sebastian is 22 months and wearing the same onesie that Tyler wore at 10 months.

Komen Race for the Cure 2011

We did the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure again this year. It was just Sebastian and I with a group of friends. (Tyler stayed home and had a special day with Daddy). This is Sebastian checking out the huge crowd. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but he did well on the walk. Of course he got the ride the whole way, but he enjoyed the people watching.

Backyard Fun!

Since the afternoons are starting to be a little nicer, we are spending more and more time outside. It's nice to be able to play outside again!

Children's Museum

While Gramma was here we took her to the Phoenix Children's Museum. Sebastian demonstrated how to run the cash register in the store.

Dinner with Gramma & PaPa

We went to dinner with Gramma & PaPa at Buca di Beppo while they were here. Sebastian was happy to be sitting with the big boys.
