A little preschool fun

A few weeks ago I poked my head in to Sebastian's classroom to see what was going on and this is what I found.  They had a bunch of hats out in the dress up area and Sebastian was very fond of this police helmet and goggles.  He had it on most of the day.

Karate

A few weeks ago, we signed Tyler up for Karate lessons through the city of Mesa.  He goes twice a week and really seems to be enjoying it.  Here is Tyler in his uniform...

Great day for the Zoo!

A few weeks ago we decided to take advantage of Tyler being out of school and the great weather outside and head to the zoo.  Grandma was still in town for Tyler's birthday so we all packed in the car and headed out to meet our cousins.

Star Wars Brithday Party

Well, it was a few weeks ago, but I am just getting around to posting some pics from Tyler's 6th birthday party.  We decided to change it up a bit this year and have his party at a local park.  Tyler wanted a Star Wars party this year (no surprise there), so Grandma and I set to work on making a Star

Wars cake.  It came out pretty cute (if I do say so myself).

Tyler is blessed to have so many great friends and he received so many great gifts for his birthday.  I can't believe he is 6 already!  He is growing up so fast.  Happy 6th Birthday buddy!

New scooter

Here is Tyler with one of his birthday presents, a new scooter!  We took it out for a spin yesterday and it seems to be a big hit.  Happy Birthday Tyler!

6 years old!

It is hard to believe that another year has flown by already, but birthday time is here again.  Today Tyler turned 6 years old!  He has had a busy year with full day kindergarten, piano lessons and sports.  He is doing an excellent job in school and continues to amaze us with his reading and writing skills.  Some favorites of his these days include anything Star Wars,  his new DS, building with Legos, and battling his brother with their Imaginext guys and castles.

Tonight we let Tyler choose something special to do for his birthday and he chose bowling.  This was only the second time he has ever been bowling.  The whole family went together and it was a lot of fun!  Tyler did the first few frames on his own and then finished out the game with the bowling ramp.  He ended up scoring a 79!  Sadly though, Mommy only scored an 83.  Daddy was the big winner with a score of 115!   Here are a few pictures of our bowling fun.
