Big Boy Bed!!!
We took the side rail off of Tyler's crib yesterday and he spend his first night in his Toddler Day Bed. He did very well, slept all night and was still in his bed when I went in to get him this morning! I am so proud of him, not to mention that I worried about him falling out all night long. He also took his nap today and did fine. I'm not sure he understands that he can get down on his own, but that might be a good thing. He is growing up so fast and it is fun to see all the changes, but also a little sad that he is growing up so fast. Hopefully he will continue to have successful naps and nights in this new (but old) big boy bed!!!

Do you have any kind of bed rail up? I'm still nervous that Audrey will roll right out during the night...she's all over the place when she sleeps. Not that it's a big fall or anything, but still. I wish you luck that he will be like Scout, she doesn't get out of her bed--she calls for her mom until Stef comes to get her. I wish! Audrey did that for about a week. But I admit it is cute that she'll come into our room when she wakes up and says "Morning, Mama!"
Tyler is doing well in his big boy bed. He does stay in it most of the time and we'll hear him in the morning saying "mama or dada". He has gotten out a couple of times during the night and I found him crying in the middle of the room. He can't open the door and didn't know where to go. We put a different night light in and that seems to be helping. So, all is well at this point with the new bed! :)
