Well, we knew this day would come some time, but I am definitely not ready for it. Today Tyler and I were out at a playdate and he fell asleep on the way home. Usually I can bring him inside and lay him down in his bed for the rest of his nap. Today, however, he woke up when I layed him down and he tried his best to get out of taking a nap. I put him down anyway and walked out of the room (as usual). Well, later I could hear him on the monitor playing and talking. I went up to check on him a few times and each time he had more and more toys in his bed. He was always in bed when I went in there, but he kept getting out of bed, collecting his toys and climbing back in. Needless to say, there was no nap today. I really hope this is not a new trend. I still need nap times to continue!!

I hear ya...when Audrey went through those two months of no naps I thought I was in for it. Then she started napping again. So, it's just a phase! For now, just go with the "quiet time". At least he stayed in his room!
