A few things...
This is where Sebastian spends most of his days now that he can get around so well. He likes to empty the cabinet, climb in and then usually ends up crying because he can't get out. It's a really fun game that I don't really enjoy playing with him. Now, if I could just get him to put the plastic containers back when he's finished playing in the cabinet....
Now for a few other updates....
Sebastian had a weight check the other day and although he still doesn't meet the weight requirement to be turned around in the car yet, he has gained a pound and grown an inch since he was weighed in December. He now weighs 17lbs, 9oz and is measuring 27 1/2 in. long. I didn't get what percentage that puts him in because we just met with the nurse for this weight check, but he has his regular 15 month well check in another few weeks.
Sebastian has made some amazingly quick progress with his walking skills in the past few days. He was practicing taking a few steps at the end of last week. He would do maybe 5-8 steps before he lost his balance. However, this weekend he really took off. I would consider him a walking man now. He falls often, but he can make it all the way across the room when he wants to. We have also been working on climbing the stairs, which he thinks is so much fun! He can get up to the top pretty quick, but coming down is a little more tricky. We are still working on that part.
It is hard to believe that last year at this time he was still in the hospital. He has made such amazing progress in one year and we are so blessed with such a healthy, fun loving little boy. I look forward to many more milestones.
