Big Helper

Today we went out to get in the car and run a quick errand and found a flat tire. So Tyler decided he would help daddy put the spare on so we could go. He was quite helpful at turning the crank, checking under the car and then having an otter pop while daddy finished up. We did finally get the tire changed and off to Target.

I saw this cake at Albertson's and just had to get it to go with our Father's Day BBQ on Saturday. Yes, that is a hamburger & fries cake!! It was quite yummy too.

Naptime......

Well, we knew this day would come some time, but I am definitely not ready for it. Today Tyler and I were out at a playdate and he fell asleep on the way home. Usually I can bring him inside and lay him down in his bed for the rest of his nap. Today, however, he woke up when I layed him down and he tried his best to get out of taking a nap. I put him down anyway and walked out of the room (as usual). Well, later I could hear him on the monitor playing and talking. I went up to check on him a few times and each time he had more and more toys in his bed. He was always in bed when I went in there, but he kept getting out of bed, collecting his toys and climbing back in. Needless to say, there was no nap today. I really hope this is not a new trend. I still need nap times to continue!!

Finger Painting (or not)

Yesterday afternoon I got out the finger paints for Tyler and we went out on the patio for some artwork. I tried to show him how to finger paint, but that didn't go so well. He is not a fan of getting gooey, messy things on his hands, so after some protesting I gave him some paint brushes and he went to town.

He did enjoy the painting and created 4 master pieces before he was finished.

Soccer

Tyler's friend Ally came over a few days ago to spend the day with us. They had a great time playing together and while we were outside, they decided to get in a little game of soccer. Check out these two soccer players!

Hello Again!!

Well, we are back on blog spot. I have spent a few months working on a web page for the Fox Family, but I have heard from many of you that you have a hard time viewing it, so I have decided to go back to the original blog so that all our family and friends can keep up with what we are doing.
